i know its holiday and i am not supposed to write anything related to the exam. but this is an exception. it doesnot make you stress though. anyway, i cant stop thinking about exam since the result will be out soon. next wednesday!

result must be published a week before the new sem start and UIA has only 2-3weeks holidays. so in the time being most of the lectures are still in the midst of marking the exam papers. well, during the exam it's normal to goreng the answers here and there and some of the answers are just too irrelevant. i know i might doing that unconditionally as well.

every semester one of my lecturers surely will publish on her facebook status the funniest answers that she get from her students. luckily she didnot publish mine. her statuses;

Aidiladha di No. 66

tadi tanya mak bila hari raya aidiladha. mak cakap esok. macam tak raya je. since tak balik kampung memang tak rasa raya sangat. aidiladha ni adik tak balik ke no.66. ada jauh di pahang mengkaji batu batuan untuk fieldwork dia. sebab esok raya, hari ini kena kemas rumah cantik cantik. cuci porch jugak. berhabuk sebab orang yang tinggal di no.66 semua tak suka keluar rumah sebab tu porch jarang dibersihkan.sejak tahun 2009 hobi abah adalah motor antik. motor antik yang baru ni batu je siap. lagi antik dari yang dulu. dan warna agak ceria. tapi sebab 2009 dah nak sampai hujung abah dah tak berapa minat. abah nak jual motor motor dia pada peminat motor antik.

dulu, dekat no.66 banyak duit syiling. sebab orang yang tinggal dekat no.66 semua malas nak simpan duit syiling. sebab saya yang paling miskin antara diorang semua, saya akan kutip duit syiling yang ada masa bercuti dirumah. hari hari kemas rumah hari hari jugak lah akan kutip syiling. bila cuti dah tamat, keuntungan biasanya rm50+\-. tapi balik ni tengok tengok abah dah ada tabung untuk syiling. semua syiling masuk dalam tu. dah xde peluang lagi. T_Thasil seni khat saya setelah agak lama dipamerkan di frienster (dah delete akaun), di myspace (dah delete akaun) dan di facebook (dah delete gambar), akhirnya telah dipamerkan di ruang pameran buat julung kalinya. tapi karya kali ini agak berlainan, keris yang x jadi patah. mungkin sebab amik masa yang lama untuk disiapkan sebab tu berjaya di pamer kan di almari pameran no. 66.

home :)

although it is 5 days late but i had a really nice pre-holiday with the participants of ASIAPAC'09 it was 2 days conference at seri pacific hotel, lunch sponsored by australia embassy, dinner at new zealand embassy, poetry reading during lunch and dinner, homestay at dorani homestay and closing ceremony at iium. it was a tiring 4 days with lots of food, new experiences, cheerful moments. and great friendship with the participants who are poets and literature professors. oh. the homestay was awesome. we had tumbuk padi, keli fishing in the mud, batik painting, making bahulu, and kuda kepang. i should go there again.

one day left and haven't sleep last night. yet still awake because there is a breakfast date with shima and hamim. to distract my sleepiness, i upload some pictures from this semester.

macam orang lain banyak yang dah habis exam, dah mula kemas barang, dah mula tulis status selamat tinggal (goodbye) di fb. tapi saya masih di sini ulangkaji untuk kertas comm laws. tapi masih lepas habis exam 19th x boleh balik sebab ada yang macam dekat bawah ini. oh. x boleh nak merungut ye, sebab sendiri yang nak masuk. jadi cuti 3 minggu akan jadi 2 minggu sahaja. x payah la tanya kenapa cuti sikit aje. sebab di sini memang macam ini. termasuk soalan "kenapa korang xde study week?", "kenapa final awak ada malam?" dan "ingat kan awak xde paper hari ini sebab hari ini ahah?"

one night stand.

i read unarranged marriage by bali rai in just one night. it was 330am when i finished it. i am really into such story about clash of the cultures, immigrants and social traditions. they fascinated me because i haven't go anywhere outside malaysia yet. i borrowed the book from hamim to pamper myself after an intense final examination period. i just loved to indulge myself by lying on the bed and had something to read on for pleasure.

i have been burdening myself throughout the semester with literature books and other required readings to read on. i dont want to read and taking notes of what i am reading on like i have to when reading those books.

because it was a long time since i hadn't read anything for fun i borrowed another book from hamim. i am currently reading it because it was too long and printed in small letters. the title is special topics in calamity physics by marisha pessl. i don't judge a book by its cover and the story had nothing to do with physics. it is a book for literary minded in which the main character, the narrator cites many textbooks and literature works in her narrations. every chapters is named with literary works such as othello, pygmalian and many more. but it is not even a literature book because it is more like investigation and murder story along with the funny and hilarious characters. and i think it's genius.

when it's over, that's the time i fall in love again.

the exam is not finished yet. but definitely i am going to spend 2 or 3 days for a break since the next exam is on 19th. faiz havent use the money i gave to him for his birthday. i gave him all my piggy bank savings and he is free to use it or buy anything from it. well, that is where we come out with an idea of going to genting.

we have been planning to go there after his paper but i guess we have to postpone the trip since the wheather is not as good. such a waste to go there if its raining. we dont want to waste our limited budget which is my piggy bank savings. ;p

next time maybe. so i guess i am going to spend the break with 2012, planet tomyam, sleeping, facebook's games and online. enough to make my break. :)
