Since He Proposed

It has been almost a year.

After he decided to get engaged, he asked me to create a planner/blog/journal for our budget and preparation. So I created a new blog and wrote 2 entries before he rejected the idea. He wanted an online planner where both of us can simply edit and refer, not a blog. We opted for Google Doc in the end and I closed the blog.

Until today, when I read a proposal by a man it struck me, I did save his proposal somewhere! Not in my phone because I sold my old handphone and the simcard is not in use any more. Then I remember about the blog and did a little trouble accessing it.

Here is the proposal made on 20th January 2011 (he proposed through SMS T_T)

So that was the plan but not everything will happen according to plan. There were a lot of things happened in between. And now I am glad for everything that has happened. It makes us stronger and loving each other even more now. I appreciate every hard work that he has gone through, asking permission from his parents, sponsoring house renovation for his parents, getting scolded by me, getting the marriage pressure  by me, saving money, find the way to get more savings, get a new job that can afford a marriage and a family, leaving all the fun he had before as single man, cut down his budget for shopping, spent nothing on his car accessories, not buying his dream PC, not buying DSLR accessories and continue learning how to be a good Muslim, husband and father, insyaAllah.

For all his efforts, I wish him all the best. InsyaAllah, he will get what he wants sooner or later. He will be a successful man, a loving husband and a caring father. I believe he can one day.
